Meet the FSA Principal

The Fr. Sauer Academy is led by Theresa Bayze, a veteran educator steeped in Jesuit tradition. Ms. Bayze has worked at St. Ignatius high school for decades as a Spanish teacher, financial assistance manager, and multiple leadership positions, including Language Department chair and Faculty Development Board chair. In January 2020, she joined FSA as the principal of the school.

In her time leading FSA, Ms. Bayze has hired a committed cohort of middle school educators and volunteers who help shape the curriculum and educational goals of our sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. This dedicated and generous group works along with Ms. Bayze, our families, and students to ensure that our focus is grounded on the values that make Jesuit education thrive; taking care of the whole person through rigorous and challenging coursework designed to meet the challenges of our time.
